Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2024

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of professional line-sitting and queuing services (the "Services") by Wehoco to its customers. By booking or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

The Services are provided by Wehoco, operating from 8A Hagley Road, Birmingham, B41 3AB, United Kingdom.

If you have any questions about these Terms or wish to exercise any of the rights described below, please contact us using the details above.

2. How an Order Is Placed and Confirmed

Bookings for our line-sitting services may be made via our website, by email, or by telephone. When you submit a booking request, you are making an offer to purchase the Services. No contract exists between you and Wehoco until we have confirmed acceptance of your booking in writing, typically by email, which will set out the date, time, location and specific details of the assignment.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking (including dates, addresses, and special instructions) is accurate and complete. Wehoco reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion, for example where the requested assignment is impractical, unsafe, or unlawful.

3. Prices, Payment and What Is Included

All prices for the Services are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are confirmed at the time of booking. Prices may include a base fee for the duration of the queuing assignment, and may exclude additional costs such as travel expenses, extended waiting time, or special requests, which will be communicated to you before confirmation.

Payment is due in accordance with the terms specified at booking, which may require full or partial payment in advance. We accept payment by the methods indicated on our website or as otherwise agreed in writing. Once payment is confirmed and the booking is accepted, you will receive a confirmation of your order.

Unless otherwise agreed, the price includes the physical presence of a line sitter for the agreed duration only. It does not include the cost of any goods, tickets, or services obtained as a result of the queuing assignment, nor any gratuities.

4. Cancellation and Complaints

You may cancel or amend a confirmed booking by contacting us as early as possible before the scheduled assignment. Depending on how much notice is given, cancellation fees may apply, as advance planning and staff allocation are required for each assignment. Where consumer protection law applicable in the United Kingdom grants you a statutory right to cancel, we will honour that right in accordance with the applicable legislation.

If you are dissatisfied with the Services provided, please contact us at [email protected] with details of your complaint as soon as reasonably possible. We will investigate all complaints promptly and aim to resolve them fairly. If we are unable to resolve a dispute directly, you may be entitled to seek independent advice or pursue resolution through the applicable courts of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, depending on your location.

5. Limitation of Liability

Wehoco will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Wehoco shall not be liable for:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under the law of the United Kingdom.

6. Cookies and Privacy

Our website uses a single cookie, "cookie_consent", which stores your consent preference for a period of one year. No analytics, tracking, or session cookies are set on this site. Advertising measurement, where applicable, only operates after you have given consent and is limited to the order confirmation page. For further information on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us directly.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

8. Supervisory Authority

If you have concerns regarding how your personal data is processed that cannot be resolved directly with us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the supervisory authority for data protection in the United Kingdom.

9. Changes to These Terms

Wehoco reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
